Bamyan Valley
Bamyan is one of Afghanistan’s most famous historical regions, known for its breathtaking natural landscapes and ancient Buddhist heritage. The valley is home to the remnants of the giant Buddha statues, carved into cliffs over 1,500 years ago, and the stunning Band-e-Amir National Park, Afghanistan’s first national park with deep blue lakes surrounded by mountains.

Herat
Herat is a cultural and historical center of Afghanistan, often called the “Pearl of Khorasan.” It is renowned for its Islamic architecture, including the Great Mosque of Herat (Masjid-e-Jami) and the Herat Citadel. The city reflects Afghanistan’s rich history in art, poetry, and trade along the ancient Silk Road.
